The Football Association Challenge Trophy, commonly known as the FA Trophy, is a men’s football knockout competition run by and named after the English Football Association and competed for primarily by semi-professional teams. The competition was instigated in 1969 to cater for those non-league clubs that paid their players and were therefore not eligible to enter the FA Amateur Cup.

Truro City twice came from behind to beat Cinderford Town 4-2 to win their first ever match in the FA Trophy. Cinderford, who like City are unbeaten in the Southern League’s Division One South and West, took the lead just before the half-hour mark. Matt Hockley equalised on 40 minutes, but after conceding a second goal Andy Watkins got City back on level terms. Ex-Plymouth Argyle man Ian Stonebridge then gave City the lead before Watkins sealed the win with a late penalty. City’s director of football Chris Webb, told BBC Radio Cornwall it was critical City did not do a repeat of their midweek FA Cup exit at Chippenham Town. “It was a big boost for us really because you don’t want to go out of two cup games in a matter of a week” he said. Truro City staged a Lazarus-like FA Trophy comeback to salvage a replay against Chesham United. City trailed 3-0 before top scorer Stewart Yetton netted two, including their last-minute equaliser, to earn the Tigers a Tuesday night replay. Truro were 2-0 down at half-time and, despite boss Sean McCarthy’s rant, went further behind after the break through Chesham captain Andy Keepence. But Sam Ledger’s own goal got City back into the game before Yetton’s double. “I lost my rag a little bit at half time if I’m honest” Truro manager Sean McCarthy told BBC Radio Cornwall. “That wasn’t us out there, and I know we’re better than that. We got a reaction in the second half. We didn’t have the luck in the first half and we didn’t deserve it, but second half we did and we deserved it and got a reply. It’s a game we could probably do without but we’re going to go up there now and have a go at them because we’re better than that.” BBC Sport

Truro City are into the first round of the FA Trophy for the first time in their history after beating Gloucester City on Tuesday. The Tigers scored the only goal of the game after 28 minutes, when Arran Pugh headed home a Lee Hodges’ free-kick. Truro boss Sean McCarthy told BBC Cornwall: “I think it’s fantastic for the club, but we need to put that to bed now and concentrate on the league.” McCarthy said he was impressed in the way his side dealt with bad conditions. “It was very difficult for the players but they were solid to be fair,” he added. “Even though the conditions were as they were, everyone could see that we did try to get the ball down and pass it. In the second-half we were (playing) into a gale force wind, but although the conditions were difficult we still tried to play.” Truro now face Chelmsford in the first round of the FA Trophy on 12 December. Truro City put in a fine performance to secure a first round replay with Chelmsford City in the FA Trophy. The Tigers, who play in the league below Chelmsford, took the lead within three minutes through Andy Watkins. Shortly afterwards Ricky Holmes equalised for the home side with a 30-yard strike. After the break, Truro took the lead again through Andy Taylor, but only two minutes later, Ricky Modeste scored to take the tie to a replay next Tuesday. Chelmsford City boss Glenn Pennyfather has praised his side’s efforts in their FA Trophy win at Truro City on Tuesday. A fourth minute goal from Dave Rainford sealed a 1-0 win in the first round replay and booked a home tie against Crawley in the second round. Pennyfather told BBC Essex: ” We passed the ball well in the first-half and maybe should have been more than one goal up. Second half, fair play to Truro, but my boys dug in and defended very well.” BBC Sport

Truro put in a composed performance to defeat Bishops Cleeve in the first qualifying round of the FA Trophy. Truro City are through to the third qualifying round of the FA Trophy after beating Horsham 2-0. Barry Hayles pulled a goal back for the Tigers midway through the second half, before Wareham struck again with a 20-yard volley to seal victory. BBC Sport

Arran Pugh’s dramatic late winner saw Truro City through to the first round of the FA Trophy as they beat Gloucester City 3-2 at Treyew Road. City almost threw the match away as they conceded two late goals. Pugh had put Truro 2-0 up after two second-half headers but Scott Wilson pulled one back after 86 minutes. A minute later Darren Mullings got an equaliser, but as extra time beckoned Pugh got on the end of a Scott Walker free-kick to seal the win. Truro City manager Steve Massey was left hugely frustrated by his side’s injury-time exit from the FA Trophy. The White Tigers had led 2-1 but a last-gasp winner from Tiverton’s Sam Malsom ended Truro’s interest in the FA Trophy in the first qualifying round. “We threw away a cup tie with some really poor defending in the last minute of the game,” Massey told BBC Radio Cornwall. “We should still be in the hat but five or six minutes of madness undid us.” Truro had trailed 1-0 at the break but had gradually established a foothold in the game before edging themselves into a deserved lead. “We couldn’t get going but we realised we had much more in the tank,” Massey continued. “The positive was that it was only 1-0 – we didn’t really threaten them until we played our wide guys higher up the park in the second half and then we totally dominated. It looked like there was a replay for us at worst. I don’t want it to sound like I’m making excuses again but the way their equaliser ended up in the net just shows the way things have been going for us. “It was a hit with power but it was going out for a throw-in – then it hit Paul Kendall and could have gone anywhere but goes in the net.” But Massey admitted his players had only themselves to blame for the manner in which they conceded Tiverton’s winner. “Our inability to actually clear the ball on two, possibly three times has cost us – we couldn’t do it and they ended up scrambling it in,” he said. “There’s been games when we’ve been beaten and I’ve taken positives and still felt upbeat but I feel like we’ve thrown away a game of football in the last minute.” BBC Sport

Truro City manager Steve Tully says his team were “outstanding” in their 3-0 win over Egham Town in the FA Trophy. Craig Duff scored twice to take his tally for the season to 12, while Ryan Brett got his first of the campaign. “The way they played, they were outstanding,” Tully told BBC Cornwall. “Defensively we looked a lot stronger with the three centre-halves and two wing backs. I thought the two boys up front, Barry Hayles and Matt Wright, did a really good job.” Tully added that his side could have scored more against an Egham Town outfit that plays in the division below the White Tigers. “It could have been seven or eight,” he said. “We could have killed it off and made it a lot easier for ourselves, but to be fair their keeper made some really good saves. We’ll only get stronger and we’re always looking to improve the team and squad, but we’ve got a good group of lads and we’re not going to be far away this season.” BBC Sport

Truro City boss Steve Tully has said his side’s success in the FA Trophy is a welcome financial boost for the club. A late Craig Duff goal helped the White Tigers beat Witham Town on Saturday to reach the third qualifying round, where they will face Hemel Hempstead. “It’s going well and making money for the club which is great,” Tully told BBC Radio Cornwall. “That’s what it’s all about. The chairman will be happy and everybody loves a cup run.” Witham Town had their goalkeeper Martyn Guest sent off in the second half for a foul on Duff, but Truro’s prolific striker – who now has 14 goals this season – spurned the opportunity from the penalty spot. Duff made amends in the closing stages though, slotting home after great build-up work from Isaac Vassell. Truro City are enjoying a decent campaign in the Southern Premier League, with the team in sixth place in the table. “The main focus is on the league but it would be nice to have a cup run alongside it,” added Tully. “We seem to be grinding out results and didn’t play the best but always looked like scoring and that’s five clean sheets in six which is a big plus for us. We’ve found a system which suits us. The team are gelling and we’re going along nicely.” BBC Sport

Truro City coach Wayne Carlisle says there are positives to take out of the club’s 2-1 FA Trophy loss to Conference South side Hemel Hempstead Town. Jordan Parkes gave Hemel an early lead before Matt Wright equalised, but Zane Banton’s 45th-minute strike sealed the tie. “Obviously we’re disappointed by the result,” Carlisle told BBC Cornwall. “But if you look at the performance and the league they’re in and their results in the last year there are a lot of positives to take from the game.” Both sides had a man sent off in the second half, with Hemel’s Arthur Lee receiving a second yellow card before Ed Palmer was given a straight red for a nasty challenge on Oliver Hawkins. “We held our own and, in the second half, once we got ourselves going, we pretty much had control of the game,” said Carlisle. “Our league form’s been good and the performance today was positive, and if we play like that we won’t lose many games at home. The boys are moving in the right direction, I don’t think anyone will go away thinking ‘we’re in trouble’ because after today there’s a lot of positives to take.” BBC Sport

City eased to a 3-0 victory in Kingston to go a step further in the FA Trophy. City dominated the game, against a side a step further down the pyramid, and were rewarded for their efforts through Dan Green, Matt Wright and Isaac Vassell. Both sides started the game brightly, Kingstonian having a couple of right wing free-kick chances, but it only took City nine minutes to find the back of the net. A whipped left-wing cross wasn’t dealt with by two home defenders and Dan Green had a simple finish to make it 1-0. Truro continued to have the better of the game, Matt Wright’s lob landing on the roof of the net. City’s second was forthcoming, in the 26th minute Ryan Brett fired a shot at goal, Kingstonian β€˜keeper Tolfrey saved, but only parried to Matt Wright, who tapped home to make it 2-0. The second goal seemed to spur the home side on considerably, and Reece Beckles saw his close shot well-saved by Martin Rice. Neither side however, could find another way through before the break. City were the better side after the restart, being the more positive side in possession and when the long balls came. Despite this no chances came about for either side, only Kingstonian managed a couple of soft shots that were easily claimed by Rice. The Tigers took 30 second half minutes to muster their first real effort at goal, good play from Les Afful teeing up Green to hit a half-volley against the post. Truro though continued to attack with pace, and they were rewarded in the 84th minute, Matt Wright playing a perfect through-ball to sub Isaac Vassell to kill off any late hopes the hosts may have had. 3-0 would be the way the game stayed, and City are now one step further along the road to an FA Trophy final at Wembley. Truro City bowed out of the FA Trophy after losing 2-0 at Macclesfield Town in their second round replay. Danny Whittaker opened the scoring after 20 minutes before Kristian Dennis converted a penalty late in the second half to seal the Silkmen’s win. National League South side Truro had held Macclesfield to a 2-2 draw at Treyew Road on Saturday. It was the first time in the club’s history that they had made it past the first round of the competition. “It took a team that were seventh in the league above and pushing for promotion back into the Football League two games to beat us.” Truro manager Steve Tully told BBC Radio Cornwall. “If we’d have kept it to 1-0 just for the last 10 or 15 minutes we might have nicked a goal because they started to get a little bit nervous and we started to dominate the play. But their effort, their desire and their ability to play at the higher level over the two games has been a big plus for us.” BBC Sport

Truro City manager Lee Hodges says he is pleased that his side did not repeat their poor FA Cup showing as they beat Frome Town 6-1 in the FA Trophy. Two goals for Aaron Bentley and River Allen, a Niall Thompson penalty and one from Andrew Neal sealed the win. It was a first cup victory of the season for Truro, who went out of the FA Cup after a 4-0 loss to lower-league Winchester City in September. “The boys have carried on the good work of the past few weeks,” said Hodges. “We spoke about Winchester in the FA Cup and how disappointing it was to go there and put in the kind of performance that got us knocked out. I didn’t want us to do that in the Trophy, I wanted us to carry on the good work that we’ve been doing.” he told BBC Radio Cornwall. BBC Sport

Truro City boss Lee Hodges says he is proud of his side despite their 1-0 extra time loss to Forest Green Rovers in the first round of the FA Trophy. Darren Carter got the decisive goal in the 109th minute to seal the win. “To hold a team like Forest Green, who are pushing to get into League Two is a fantastic achievement,” Hodges said. “We looked a totally different team to how we’ve started the season, and the boys are buying in to everything we’re asking them to do.” City are 14th in National League South, 34 places below third-placed National League side Forest Green, but held Rovers to a 1-1 draw in the first tie on Saturday. “It’s a heartbreak, but we’ve lost to an absolute world-class strike, he’s struck it from 25 yards and put it in the top corner,” Hodges added to BBC Radio Cornwall. “I’m sitting here very proud of the way they’ve performed, we’ve hit the crossbar twice in the space of 30 seconds, and if that goes in you never know what could happen, but they’ve performed to their maximum and they were excellent.” Truro have never made it beyond the opening round of the second-tier FA knockout competition, having last reached the first round in 2009. “Truro’s done Cornwall proud over these last couple of games,” added Hodges. “But as the manager now you have to stop and think that we’ve got the league now, and the problem is they’ve put in these two games against Forest Green Rovers, we’ve got to go and do it in the league now and be more consistent.” BBC Sport

Truro City are on the hunt for more cup success after reaching the FA Trophy first round. The National League South side made club history by reaching the FA Cup first round earlier this month and now they’re after more glory. The White Tigers won 3-1 at Lewes to advance in what was their third away trip in seven days. A victory at Hungerford was followed by a draw at Braintree before this cup win. “We’ve covered a lot of miles this week,” said boss Lee Hodges. “In fact, we’ve done the equivalent of going from Land’s End to John O’Groats and back with an extra four miles on top for good measure! The players have given me absolutely everything, we made seven changes today but I was very pleased with the performance. We weren’t at it for the opening 20 minutes or so, but once we started to get into our stride, we grabbed two goals in quick succession and took things from there. The lads ran their socks off and we scored three good goals against a good side who are top of their league with only one defeat all season. It was a professional job. It’s great to be involved in this competition and with a Wembley final at the end of it, we want to do well and get as far as we can. We’re in the hat for the first round now when the National League teams come into it, so let’s see where it takes us.” The National League

Taunton Town’s final match before non-elite football’s suspension during the national lockdown saw them knocked out of the FA Trophy, as visitors Truro City triumphed 4-2 at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium. For Truro it provided a measure of revenge, after the Peacocks defeated them by the same scoreline in the FA Cup last month. This fixture had originally been scheduled for last Saturday, but the weekend’s heavy rain forced a postponement and the re-scheduling for Tuesday night – just before the lockdown brings grassroots sport to a halt for the next month. There were four ex-Taunton players in the visitors’ line-up – Ryan Brett, Andrew Neal, Ed Palmer and Shane White – and one of them, Brett, assisted the opening goal after 11 minutes, as his corner was headed in by Jamie Richards. The hosts were level just two minutes later, though, as Toby Holmes – who had scored a hat-trick in the last meeting between the sides – slotted in from Gethyn Hill’s pass. Both sides created half-chances throughout the rest of the opening 45 minutes, but it remained 1-1 at half-time. Just two minutes into the second half, however, the Cornish visitors were ahead again as Tyler Harvey fired past home goalkeeper Lloyd Irish and into the corner of the net. Richards scored his second just after the hour mark to make it 3-1, but the Peacocks pulled one back in the 68th minute, when Jay Foulston curled a fine free-kick in off the post. Yet their hopes were all but snuffed out five minutes later, as Harvey headed in from a Connor Riley-Lowe cross for his second and Truro’s fourth. Somerset County Gazette

Moneyfields’ run in the FA Trophy is over after they suffered a 5-1 first round proper defeat at the hands of Truro City at Dover Road. Moneys, who had never previously reached this stage of the competition, came up short against their division higher Southern League Premier South opponents on a cold and wet afternoon. Striker Steve Hutchings had fired the hosts ahead inside a minute as hopes of an upset were raised. But those celebrations were soon dampened with Andrew Neal heading the visitors level less than two minutes later before four second-half strikes made it a comfortable tie in the end for Truro. Despite the driving rain and cold conditions, both teams came flying out of the traps in what was a frantic start. The hosts took the lead inside 60 seconds with Hutchings on hand to poke home after the ball fell kindly to him in the area. That proved to be the wake-up call the Cornwall side needed, though, and they were soon level. Neal cleverly peeled off his marker to head his side level after meeting Dan Rooney’s pinpoint cross less than two minutes later. The game then began to settle down following the lively opening with Moneys happy to retreat into a solid shape and allow Truro possession. City were intent on getting the ball wide and nearly went ahead from another cross on 23 minutes. Shane White’s clipped pass was met by Tyler Harvey, only for his header to hit the inside of the post. Moneys were more than in the tie at the halfway stage and would have had a shock in their sights. But when Harvey slotted home his first seven minutes after the restart it looked an uphill battle. Moneys were then forced to commit more players forward in a bid to get back into it. That would leave them exposed with Truro capitalising in the closing stages. Neal’s second 15 minutes from time started a flurry of three goals in the space of six minutes. Harvey’s brilliant driving run and finish made it four less than a minute later while substitute Kieran Hayes rounded off the scoring nine minutes from the end. It was a final scoreline that flattered the visitors but Moneys could have no complaints about their FA Trophy exit. The News, Portsmouth

Truro City progressed to the first round of the FA Trophy after beating Cirencester Town 1-0 in their delayed third qualifying round tie. Euan Pollock struck for the second time in three games when his 13th-minute effort proved to be the difference. Truro created a number of other chances, with Pollock and Ryan Brett both going close before half-time. Will Dean, Tyler Harvey and Brett also missed chances to increase the lead in the second half. The match was postponed on Saturday after heavy rain left Bolitho Park unplayable. BBC Sport

Truro City goalkeeper James Hamon saved two spot-kicks as the White Tigers beat Bognor Regis Town 4-2 on penalties to reach round two of the FA Trophy. Striker Tyler Harvey’s long-range effort gave Truro a 37th-minute lead, his ninth goal of the season. Andrew Neal missed an excellent second-half chance to put Truro 2-0 up before Jordy Mongoy’s 65th-minute equaliser sent the tie into a shootout. Former Exeter keeper Hamon saved Town’s last two penalties as they won through. Will Dean, Euan Pollock, Shane White and Neal were all on target for Truro in the shootout. BBC Sport

A late penalty miss denied Binfield from completing a second-half comeback in their FA Trophy tie against Truro City. The Moles rallied to put in a spectacular second-half display after a disappointing opening 45 minutes in a gripping cup tie, but they were eliminated by the visitors. Binfield are accustomed to cup success having enjoyed a remarkable run in the FA Vase last season that took them all the way to the final at Wembley Stadium where they were beaten by Warrington Rylands in a magnificent occasion. The teams traded early chances as Binfield captain Sean Moore hit a shot that flew over the bar just two minutes in, before the Moles had to make a last ditch block on the line to deny Truro the lead just moments later. But just a minute after being denied from close range, Truro took their chance this time as Tyler Harvey put them in front in the seventh minute. The Cornish side continued to threaten in a commanding opening to the match and they were rewarded with a second goal in the 25th minute when Rocky Neal doubled the advantage. Truro’s impressive first-half performance saw them take a three goal lead into the break as Neal grabbed his second, and Truro’s third, in the 41st minute. Having plenty of work to do in the second-half to get back into the cup tie, Binfield came out with a renewed intensity after the break. They gave themselves a lifeline in the 53rd minute when Josh Howell hit a stunning free-kick that flew past the goalkeeper to reduce the deficit. The Moles applied the pressure throughout the second-half and went agonisingly close when Jack Thomson-Wheeler’s cross found Kensley Maloney in the middle but his shot rolled wide. But Binfield kept fighting to find another goal and they found it with just over 10 minutes to go as Ollie Harris converted from close range. The hosts were given the chance to complete a spectacular turnaround when they were awarded a penalty to try and level the tie in the 87th minute. Harris stepped up to the spot, struck his kick cleanly but watched it as it smashed the top of the crossbar in a cruel ending to the game for the Moles. Wokingham Today

Truro City are out of the FA Trophy after losing 4-2 on penalties to National League side Dagenham and Redbridge following a 1-1 draw. After a scoreless first half the fifth-tier Daggers began to gain control and had two goals disallowed before Josh Walker’s 76th-minute glancing header. Andrew Neal levelled with two minutes to go just after Tyler Harvey had an equaliser disallowed for offside. Harvey and Shane White had spot-kicks saved as Dagenham scored all four. BBC Sport

Andrew Neal’s stoppage-time goal saw Truro City progress to the first round proper of the FA Trophy as they beat Salisbury 1-0 at Bolitho Park. The third qualifying round tie looked set to go to penalties before top scorer Tyler Harvey found Neal in the box and he calmly slotted home. Dan Sullivan and Ryan Brett had good chances following a tight first half. And Truro piled on the pressure as the second half went on, with Neal finally breaking the deadlock. It was his fifth goal of the season and saw the Southern Premier League South leaders progress through FA Trophy qualifying for the third successive season. Last season they reached the third round before losing to National League side Dagenham and Redbridge on penalties. BBC Sport

Truro City manager Paul Wotton says the 2-0 loss to Beaconsfield Town in the FA Trophy will not ‘define’ his side. Wotton made a number of changes to a team that are unbeaten and top of Southern Premier League South after 13 games. Sam Granville got a 23rd-minute opener for the victors as he tapped into an empty net after a shot hit the bar before Kyle Reid converted a penalty 14 minutes later in the first round tie. “We didn’t do enough to win the game today.” Wotton told BBC Radio Cornwall. “It’s very important we realise where we are. That was an FA Trophy game, we’re now out of that, we’re out of the FA Cup, however we’ve played 13 games in the league and we’re top of the league and undefeated. Today’s result doesn’t define us at all, it was invaluable to give boys in the squad minutes and ultimately it’s just cemented what I know about the players, who we miss, who we need in the starting 11 and who we don’t. I’ve got no problem with getting beat today, the boys gave everything they had but ultimately weren’t good enough.” BBC Sport

Truro City manager Paul Wotton says his side did not deserve to progress in the FA Trophy after their 2-0 second round loss at Hungerford Town. Second-half goals from Joe Shepherd and Niiokai Evans were the difference as City’s wait for a win goes on – they have not won since 9 September. “I’m using the word ‘disappointed’ a little bit too much for my liking at the minute,” Wotton told BBC Cornwall. “I didn’t think we particularly deserved anything out of the game.” He added “There’s two huge positives from the game – one it wasn’t a league game, and we have another game on Tuesday night which I can’t wait for. We were never going to win the FA Trophy, we were never going to win the FA Cup, we’re out of both now. We know where we are, we’re OK in the league, we’ll be OK, it wasn’t a great afternoon for us, but you have disappointments in life and you have to react, it’s the only option. You can’t sit down and sulk about it, you react, and the only way I know how is to work even harder and keep on going.” The match was Truro’s first in 11 days after home games in National League South against Dartford and Taunton Town were postponed. “We looked a bit lethargic, a bit sluggish, we haven’t played for a while with last weekend’s game being off.” Wotton said. “We’re always better when we’re game, game, game, game – we get ourselves into a bit of a rhythm, so it’s been a little bit disjointed at the minute. But it’s not a league game, the league’s what we’re all about. We’re in a new league this year which is fantastic for everyone and we’ve got a big game on Tuesday night away to Weymouth which we can’t wait for.” BBC Sport

Truro City’s FA Trophy hopes were ended at Plainmoor, as Dan Hayfield’s 52nd minute free-kick settled an absorbing tie, which saw the visitors dominate for long spells. Torquay were indebted to former City incumbent James Hamon, who made three fine saves to keep his former employers at bay, and just seven minutes after the restart, Hayfield found the top corner with a magnificent 25-yard free-kick. Visiting boss John Askey made three changes from the side which lost 1-0 at Boreham Wood on Tuesday evening. Tyler Harvey was ruled out with a quad injury while Jaze Kabia was only fit enough to make the bench after requiring stitches in Hertfordshire. Connor Riley-Lowe returned to the starting line-up and captained the side in place of Tylor Love-Holmes, while in the engine room, Will Dean was back from suspension and Billy Palfrey dropped to the bench. There was also a place among the substitutes for recent City acquisition Levi Andoh, who has joined on loan from York City. With Harvey and Kabia both missing, the Truro line was led by Dominic Johnson-Fisher and Andrew Neal. Truro settled well into proceedings against the hosts, who were without their manager and former City chief Paul Wotton due to a touchline ban. The Holsworthy Post

Truro City manager John Askey said his priority was his side’s league campaign after their 4-0 FA Trophy loss at Southend United. Askey made seven changes to the side that lost 3-1 at Hartlepool in the National League last week as he focuses on trying to turn around poor form which has left the Tinners bottom of the table. Harry Cardwell gave the hosts a 32nd-minute lead before Jack Bridge doubled the advantage just before half-time. Josh Walker added a third just after the hour before Bridge wrapped the game up for Southend seven minutes from full time. Truro now prepare to host 10th-placed Wealdstone on Tuesday night before travelling to York City, who are fourth, on Saturday. “We had one eye on Tuesday’s game against Wealdstone, so we made one or two changes, changed the way that we were playing, had a look at a different way of playing and we struggled,” Askey told BBC Radio Cornwall. “We struggled throughout the game really. I’ve been here before with teams and it is always a tough place to come. They’re a really good team and we’ve got to forget this and concentrate on the Tuesday game, which is a vital game for us.” He added: “Obviously you want to come here and you want to win, every game you want to win, but Tuesday’s game is the most important. I’ve said that to the players, we’ve got to give it everything, especially when we’re at home – we’ve got to have a right go on Tuesday, and if we can get a result, then it gives everybody a massive lift. I’d prefer to win on Tuesday than today, and it’s given me a chance to look at one or two players who’ve not been playing and make decisions on them and it’s been good from that point of view, but obviously we’re looking to do better.” BBC Sport
