As far back as records go, Truro City Football Club have played in the colours of red and black, until an egotistical chairman got hold of our club and changed our traditional colours to all white in 2005, the reason for this? he was a Tottenham Hotspur fan! Here we’ll get opinions from past players and people connected to our club that has a long and rich history as to why they prefer us to be playing back in the red and black!

“In my opinion it should never have changed, the history of the club/players in the past should still be represented today and that’s why it’s called history, those who have gone before and made a pathway for present day players. It’s not just a badge or colours, it’s a symbol of our city and team and the red and black if it gets a chance to return, the younger fans will ask why and so our story can be told and not forgotten, that’s our right, our heritage.”
